Plan Ahead

Plan Ahead To Fail Early

Many times we make big plans and execute a marketing campaign before we have tested our strategy. Planning is cheap. Doing is expensive.

Test your ideas on a small scale first. If it works, do it larger.

Effective marketing is a result of trial and error. Minimize the cost of your errors by doing them in small tests first until you find the most effective approach. Then go after your goal with increased enthusiasm. The more small failures you have, the greater your odds of succeeding big.

Seth Godin says: “Get it right for ten people before you rush around scaling up to a thousand.”

That Sales Guy says: “Ask frequently and adjust.”
