How can you promote yourself without appearing to be too pushy and self-promotional?
Create opportunities for others to talk about and promote you. One easy method is to be interviewed and recorded with a permanent URL. The interviewer will sing your praises, promote your service, your book, or your product. And, answering questions about yourself never seems pushy, unless you embellish too much and go off on tangents.
As an example, in a previous post, I write about How To Sell With Your Bio. The topic relates to my specialty, selling, while I am sincerely promoting a service that I recommend and would use myself. It is an honest testimonial and I am providing useful information for my followers and clients.
